Historic Hall Restoration 15 - Dormer windows

A recent project we have been working on is the restoration of Brackenhurst Main Hall in Southwell, Nottinghamshire

Several dormer windows feature around the roof space in Brackenhurst Main Hall. The first step was to test them for lead paint, once this had been confirmed the entire window was removed and disposed of environmentally correctly. Entirely new dormer windows made of hardwood to match the original windows and new glazing were then installed.
