National Justice Museum Restoration 3 - Doorways

In Nottingham’s Historic Lace Market area stands the National Justice Museum, situated within the grade II* listed Shire Hall, a building we have recently worked on.

On the flat roof at the Southern end of Shire Hall there were several doors that needed a new lintel to improve the structure of the building as well as the doorway itself. As you can see surrounding the black door, the brickwork has been restored with new brick repairs and repointing with lime mortar.
